Thoughts on holiness/sanctification

When you come to Christ you are sanctified for a use. It is hard to believe some people can teach a progression of sanctification when the instruments of the temple were consecrated for a specific use. You as a believer in Jesus Christ are set apart as an instrument of the temple of God. In the Old Testament the vessels were not progressively being purged of sin. Our job as saints is to comply with our sanctification. God’s side is done. Your job is to yield your members as instruments of righteousness. This is not progressive sanctification but progressive yielding and realization.

When a man is holy his whole body is in alignment with God. What I mean by this is man was created to be filled with God and live sanctified. This is the proper order of man. For a man to be complete He must be a possessor of eternal life. Our sanctification is revealed in the morality that follows. When man is as he was created to be the whole of man is in perfect peace and his thoughts are not combating him. Man when filled with God is full of life and can hear God clearly. Man who is filled with God can move with clarity. He can minister in perfect peace with a perfect flow.

The rest of faith simply receives what has been done and rest in that finished work. In this life of holiness is perfect peace. No war inside.

Do your own investigations

As a believer you can get caught up in what others are saying. The world and the church in these days has been listening and obeying much by hear say. Do your own investigation. Everything someone says take it back to scripture. Seal the deal with two or three other scriptures. What has God’s stamp of approval? If it does not line up with scripture you can disregard it.

Some things we listen to are simply incomplete truths or revelations. If pushed to the extreme it can become error.

For instance ‘confession’. Confession is not the destination. A godly life that walks in love is a heart full of faith that makes a positive confession based on the promises of God. The confession is not the object, it is not the means to an end. Jesus Christ is the object of our confession. Absolute trust in Jesus is a confession in proper context.

Confession

In many religious persuasions words all have the power to shape our lives in one way or another. I would not make a positive confession as the ends of faith. Faith without works is dead. It is not the means to an end. A persuasion that just leads into a positive confession without the entirety of who you are as a person following can lead into deep self delusion, and even narcissism.

Speaking the Word of God is fine, but it is never access within itself. You can name it and claim it until you step into eternity and never obtain it.

The point is, your life has to be in line with the Word of God in order to obtain His blessing. Not all doors are unlocked! Some doors have keys and you need to place the key in the key hole and turn the door knob.

Christ requires that you live and abide in Him. Living and abiding in Christ is the door into the Spirit. In Him you live and move and have your being. When you step outside of Him you are not automatically qualified to be blessed. It does not matter how good your confession is, if you are living like a devil with a positive confession you simply might have a lying spirit that has attached itself to you, did you ever think of that?

If you believe something and God has supplied the faith for you, the entirety of your life will react in obedience to it. When real faith is moving in you, you can pray and God will bring it to pass. Unfortunately in the day we live in people have the hardest time between faith and presumption. Discerning between God and being entangled with emotions is becoming harder for people to distinguish.

God examines our words but He also examines your life. Many have a long way to go before knowing what true faith and real speaking really means and how it impacts the environment around us. Do not be under a spell that tells you that you are blessed because you have connections and speaking engagements along with the ability to raise up big offerings. That is not even Raven faith, that is good technique. God won’t judge technique, but He will examine all your idle words as well as the deeds done in the body.

Ponder on these….

School Shootings

The Lord showed me something recently about the school shootings. One of the first major shootings was with Columbine High School. It provoked a student movement across US Campuses. People fought the war with the Bible, prayer, love and evangelism.     Something has gone very awry this time with the school in Florida.  Rather than facing the real issue “The Human heart, bullying, etc etc…” the battle is being politicized “Guns and Donald Trump”.

I believe the media is manipulating a generation. With this manipulation is rising a movement called  “Never Again”, I believe this is a demonic inspired movement of liberal students that are filling in the vacuum coming from the lack of spiritual movement within our  public school system.

What to start looking out for:

  • The “Never Again” movement is just the beginning of brainwashed, young people looking for a political solution. They hate God, they hate the current administration and they want to work hand in hand with secularist to make America into the image they want.
  • A counter movement. I feel the wind is going to blow in these dark times. God has a remnant that will be hated by the world and adored by God.
  • More young people without “natural affection” coming forward to determine laws.
  • Other young people will wax strong when they see the rebellion of their classmates, instead of joining their ranks they will create their own. Many more people like Matt Walsh and Ben Shapiro will be forged.
  • A very deep hatred toward anything God, libertarian and conservative.

Prophetic Jumbo

For half of my born again life in Christ, I was nurtured by the prophetic movement. The movement as a whole consist of leaders with different ideologies. These ideas give way to certain movements.  Movements can sometimes give way to extremism. Than one extremest gives way to an extreme movement.       Unfortunately neither stay out of the ditch.

The prophetic movement today has gotten weird at most.    Instead of the prophet revealing Jesus they are revealing phone numbers. Instead of talking about “Christ in you the hope of glory” they are building up your expectation of receiving angel feathers and gold dust.         Have you noticed that over time the focus stopped being internal and became external manifestations?      I love the manifestations of the Holy Spirit, I’ve been blessed and very fortunate to be part of some mighty moves of God.  Sadly much of what we call “revival” is fluff.        When the Holy Spirit is in something He has an amazing way of getting the focus off the man and glorifying Jesus.  When the flesh or a familiar spirit is in operation it has an amazing way of glorifying the man of God.

Are we ever going to grow out of parking lot prophecy and street evangelism parlor tricks? Are we ever going to be done with the “Do you feel that heat on your hand” or the “One leg is bigger than the other” trick?        Are we going to graduate from the “Lord sees your tears and your prayers at night” shot in the dark prophetic words?  What about the “I see so and so’s mantle on you”?

The new fad is “Culture changes” we have taken “Changing the atmosphere” and funneled it through cultural relevance. Instead of changing the culture we are becoming the culture, so the culture doesn’t have to change, we change ourselves to fit the culture of the world.         Instead of truly changing the culture we are trying to change the response we get from the world. Instead of being hated by all nations we are the most beloved among the nations.  The culture hasn’t changed, the devil likes the culturally relevant Christian.  The response changes but the culture doesn’t.         A lukewarm Christian that is culturally relevant will one day meet God as a righteous judge.

Try not to get caught up in fads.    Once you get out of them it is easy to take a look back and think “How stupid was I”?             Thank God for prophets that are revealing Jesus instead of phone numbers.

Generation that would welcome Hitler

I try not to be controversial in my blogging.   What I have noticed from the work place to the street is a disturbing trend that any history buff would know or at least recognize (I am puzzled that people have big blinders on). It is disturbing, appalling, flat out obvious!

Obama is almost out the door. I don’t believe we have seen the last of him however.    How did Hitler gain power over Germany? How did he get so many unwavering followers?

  • He targeted a certain group of people (making them look bad through insults).
  • He worked with the church to produce a more liberal doctrine that removed every Jewish root.
  •  He used media to get his message across.
  •  He used entertainers to help propagate his agenda.
  •  He was charismatic in his approach.
  • Occult practices surrounded him and his leadership team.
  •  Society became so brainwashed via media they supported him and his mission.
  •  He demonized those who disagreed with his vision.

Why is society as a whole acting like Germany in the 40’s?   It is a very disturbing trend. Most everything I hear from people today is the regurgitation of fake news media, a pop star or Hollywood actors.      If America would have voted Hillary we would be in some serious trouble as a nation!

What do we need to watch out for the next few years?:

  • A continual campaign by media to brainwash society.
  • Obama and his followers to continue stirring up trouble (Obama might look for other means of leadership as well as his team to continue to propagate rebellion).
  • As more conservative judges get appointed the liberal brain washed masses will become more angry and bitter.
  • A greater hatred for Christianity will grow.
  • Russia and China, Israel and the Palestinian people will continue to come to the forefront.
  • We will see a growing of a more liberal church.
  • We will see more converts become more hungry for power and prestige as they follow their leaders.
  • While people cry PEACE PEACE PEACE it will potentially be short lived.
  • A more liberal attitude in the church because of the continued effects of hyper grace doctrines.
  • People might try impeaching or assassinating Trump.
  • We will see the continual rise and promotion of narcissistic/ sociopathic leaders in politics and in the church as we continue to turn a blind eye to God’s qualifications for leadership.hitler

What is really going to happen?

In a day where it seems prophets of prosperity are prophesying peace and safety, I am under the persuasion that it might be short lived.         Despite the prosperity the prophets prophesied we are going to see the rise of both China and Russia (as we have been). We  are going to see more from the Middle East as Israel becomes a cup of trembling.      8 years of destruction has occurred under the current Obama administration.

Prophets prophesied Hilary would lose and she did. They prophesied Trump would rise up and shake things up.      What happens when you disturb a hornets nest? what happens when you poke at a nest of rattle snakes? what happens when you disturb a bear with her cubs?             Despite all the peace being mentioned all the key players of the end times are beginning to move into place.     Watch Russia. Watch China.  Watch Israel.       More importantly keep your lamps burning with fresh oil.
